This ring is made from 316 stainless steel and abalone “paua shell”.
It has a single inlay of paua shell. Please note that some of the images show the inlay brighter due to the lighting conditions.
Abalone are medium to large mollusks, and there shells are a naturally beautiful material.
The highly iridescent inner nacre layer of the paua shell is used, and in certain light conditions will emit a rainbow of bright colours.
It has to be seen in reality to truly appreciate its beauty.
