Finding your perfect ring size
The most important thing when it comes to buying a new ring is the ring size. You don’t want your beautiful ring to be too small, or too big that it falls off your finger!
* The easiest way to do this is with a ring sizer (see right). Sangster Designs will send you a ring sizer if required for a small charge of £5. This charge will be redeemable if an order is placed.
The ring sizer must be adjusted on your finger so that it is able to slide comfortably over your knuckle. Once adjusted to your finger, your size can be read from the band.
Please remember if ordering a wide band (5mm or above), to give yourself an extra half size bigger for a comfortable fit.
* Another way to get your ring size is to simply visit your nearest jewellers. They will measure you for a ring (usually free of charge). It is advisable to visit a couple of jewellers to be certain the sizing is correct.
If for any reason, you deem a commissioned ring to be too small, we will process one free ring sizing (unfortunately due to the custom nature of the rings the size can only be increased and not decreased. Increased sizing impacts the inside diameter of the ring only).
Maximum increase in ring size would be 1 to 1 1/2 sizes up, this would depend on ring design, materials etc.
